The Redmi Pad 5 is rumoured to be launching shortly in India. A new tablet bearing the Redmi branding has been discovered in the FCC database of the US Federal Communications Commission. The tablet has the 22081283G model number visible. According to the ad, a 7,800mAh battery might be inside. MIUI 13 could also function on the Redmi tablet. Dual-band Wi-Fi functionality for 2.4GHz and 5GHz has been listed. The tipster claims that although it is just identified as a Redmi tablet, it might be either the Redmi Pad 6 or the Xiaomi Pad 6.

The Redmi Pad 6 or the Xiaomi Pad 6 could be this tablet, according to tipper Simranpal Singh (@simransingh931), however it is listed as "some Redmi tablet" on Twitter. The tipper also mentioned that Bluetooth version 5.1 might be included. The company has not yet made the tablet public.
