The recently unveiled OnePlus 10T 5G has been on sale since August 6, but OnePlus has been working to iron out any flaws. On August 10, the company released its first software update. After a week, a larger software update has been released, which among other things fixes more issues, adds optimizations, and enhances the camera. With a 50-megapixel triple rear camera array and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the OnePlus 10T is well-equipped.

software update and changelog for the OnePlus 10T 5G

The OnePlus 10T 5G has received its second OxygenOS 12.1 update with the version number CPH2413 11 A.06. The identical software update has landed on Gadgets 360's OnePlus 10T 5G review unit, indicating that the deployment for users in India is currently active.

This software version contains many more improvements and fixes than the original one. The update enhances overall stability in terms of software performance and optimises the stability of background programmes as well. OnePlus claims that additional improvements to the unlocking experience have been made to the screen display, OTG compatibility, and the fingerprint reader's recognition algorithm.

Moving on to the cameras, both the front and rear cameras have been optimised. Both the ultra-wide-angle camera's shooting performance and the Portrait mode on the back camera have been improved. OnePlus has also improved the impact of the AI Retouch feature with the front-facing camera.

In addition to improving the camera and stabilising the software, OnePlus has also resolved an issue that occasionally plagued some customers while using the SUPERVOOC charging adaptor.

Specifications for the OnePlus 10T 5G

The OnePlus 10T 5G went on open sale starting on August 6 after being unveiled on August 3 internationally and in India. The phone contains a 160W charging adapter in the box with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. A 50-megapixel primary camera (with OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera are all included on the phone's three rear cameras. A 16-megapixel camera is used for taking selfies.

While the OnePlus 10T 5G's design adheres to their design aesthetic, they did away with the recognisable Alert slider. According to OnePlus, the Alert slider was removed to make room for components that are more performance oriented, such as the two charge pumps required for its 150W fast charging technology and a larger 4,800mAh battery. However, in accordance with a prior rumour, OnePlus has plans to reintroduce the Alert slider on later models.
