The Dimensity 930 SoC was used by vivo to debut the Y77 in China last month. Today, the business unveiled the 'e' model, which uses the Dimensity 810 chip.

The vivo Y77e is available in three memory configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. It runs OriginOS Ocean, an Android 12-based operating system. Additionally, it offers a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion.

The 6.58" FullHD+ OLED screen of the smartphone features a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a 60Hz refresh rate. A 5,000 mAh battery powers the entire unit and is charged at up to 18W through a USB-C connector.

You get a 2MP macro unit in addition to a 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera for photography. Other features of the vivo Y77e include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone connector, and 5G connectivity.

If this all seems familiar to you, it's because the vivo Y77e is a Malaysian-only variant of the Y77 with slightly altered specifications. The Malaysian Y77 has a 50MP primary camera on the back and a 16MP selfie camera. Additionally, it runs Funtouch OS 12 and has an LCD rather than an OLED display.

Returning to the vivo Y77e, the device is available in three colours, and the 8GB/128GB model costs CNY1,699 ($250/€245) in China. The cost of the other two versions has not been disclosed by vivo, and we are also unaware of the phone's availability.
