Through an official ad, Honor has formally confirmed the arrival of the eagerly anticipated Honor 8 tablet. The tablet's specs have been confirmed to include a 12-inch screen with eye protection, eight stereo speakers, and a stylish light metal frame.
The device has curved edges, and the screen-to-body ratio resembles that of the Honor V7 Pro tablet from a prior generation, according to the official launch poster.
The Honor 8 tablet will have a vertical Honor branding in the middle of the back, an oval lens module on the rear, and a USB-type C port at the bottom.
Notably, the Honor V7 Pro's design aesthetics can also be seen in the camera setup on the back of the handset.
According to a recent rumour, the upcoming Honor tablet generation will have a 2K resolution display and allow 22.5W rapid charging. Additionally, it was said that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor will be installed into the tablet to improve overall performance, particularly in terms of a decent LTE experience. However, no official details about the report have yet been made public.
The Honor V7 has a redesigned pen and Bluetooth keyboard, as well as a 10.5-inch 2K resolution screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, in compared to the previous generation Honor V7 series, which was released in September of last year. The tablet's chassis and screen are rounded, and its four edges are all the same width.
The MediaTek Kompanio 900T processor powers the Honor Tablet V7, while the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T processor powers the Honor Tablet V7 Pro.

Three hues are available for the tablet, as shown in the poster: navy blue, gold, and a shade of turquoise. Tomorrow, July 21, at 7:30 PM (GMT+8), the brand will have an official launch conference to officially introduce the smartphone.
Along with the Honor 8 tablet, Honor will also introduce other products at the launch conference, including the Honor x40i smartphone, the Honor Smart Screen X3 series smart TVs, and more.
