All cellphones that will be sold in India must be approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards, or BIS. Samsung's most recent two smartphones to emerge as BIS-approved products are both Android devices. But up until now, neither of these has been made official anywhere else.

The Galaxy A23 5G and the Galaxy A04s are the devices in question. Once they are both released, they will both be available in India. Contrast the Galaxy A23 5G with the Galaxy A23, which only supports 4G and is already available in several areas.

The Snapdragon 695 chipset, a little increase from the Snapdragon 680 featured in the 4G model, was recently discovered in a benchmark database for the Galaxy A23 5G, which will launch in Europe simultaneously with India. The testing prototype has 4GB of RAM, but the final product should have more choices. It boots Android 12 in an absolutely expected manner.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A04s, which is the Exynos 850 SoC used in the Galaxy A13 and M13, showed up in the same benchmark database. It also uses Android 12 and has a 3GB RAM variant. The Galaxy A04s was rumoured to sport a 6.5" HD+ 60 Hz LCD screen and a 5,000 mAh battery in the past.
