On July 12, Realme is expected to release information about the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. Early this year, the Chinese manufacturer unveiled the Realme GT Neo 3 with support for 150W and 80W fast charging. Fast charging at 80W is supported by the GT Neo 3T / Q5i. The majority of the Realme flagship phones, including the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro, include 65W fast charging support in addition to these two models. Realme's first smartphone to ship with compatibility for 100W charging is the GT 2 Master Explorer.
5,000mAh of battery capacity will be included with the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer. According to the manufacturer, the device will barely weigh 195 grammes despite containing a large battery. A 100W GaN (gallium nitride) charger that comes with the device promises to charge batteries more quickly and with less heat. Realme claims that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition can be fully charged by the 100W GaN in under 25 minutes.
Realme is anticipated to be the first smartphone in the world to use the newest LPDDR5x RAM technology. It will be equipped with dual vapour chamber liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation and run on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The smartphone will ship with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that supports HDR10+, Full HD+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colours. For taking selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel camera. The gadget will contain a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera on the back.
Realme UI 3.0 and Android 12 will be installed on the GT 2 Master Explorer. There are three different configurations that it may come in: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Realme Book Air and Realme Buds Air 3 Neo will also be unveiled during its launch event.
