The Motorola Razr 3 has been the subject of numerous leaks and news stories. However, one of these theories regarding the battery of the future foldable smartphone has recently been directly refuted by a company executive.

For those who weren't aware, a prior report had provided some important information about the Moto Razr 3 model. A 2,800mAh battery pack would have reportedly been used to power it. The head of Lenovo's mobile phone division has refuted this disclosure, though. The senior official Chen Jin claimed that this information was false on Weibo (via ITHome). In other words, this might be a signal that the next foldable phone might have a bigger battery than had been originally speculated.

Although the company representative withheld detailed information about the smartphone's battery. As a result, we don't really have much information at this time. According to what we already know, the smartphone will have a larger 6.7 inch screen than its 6.2 inch predecessor. Additionally, it appears that the cover screen will also be a sizable 3 inch panel. The main foldable panel will have a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution.

The smartphone is said to have a 32 megapixel selfie camera on the front. It's interesting to note that Jin also included a new wallpaper for the cover screen in his Weibo post. The Razr 3 is anticipated to have a twin camera arrangement behind the rear external display and could also come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This chipset could be used with up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM. Keep checking back for further information because this is currently pending confirmation.
