The iPad Mini 6 and the iPhone 13 series were introduced by Apple Inc. last year. The device's most recent OS, the iPad Os 15.5, seems to have been causing some issues lately. Users of iPads are already feeling the effects of the most recent version of Apple's mobile operating system, which follows numerous complaints about the Apple Books app. More specifically, after the upgrade, a number of users have complained that their iPad Mini 6 devices are having charging issues.

Concerned users have stated on the Apple Support Community forums that they are unable to charge the iPad Mini 6 anymore after updating to iPadOS 15.5. These complaints suggest that the iPad battery does not charge regardless of the power cable or adapter used. Some customers have even attempted to remedy the issue by restoring the iPad's software, but this doesn't appear to work.

Even though it might seem like a hardware issue, the root causes are software-related. According to an internal memo sent to approved service providers and obtained by MacRumors, Apple acknowledged that users have complained that their iPad Mini 6 cannot be charged after upgrading to iPadOS 15.5.

Sadly, Apple confirms in the memo that replacing or updating the iPad's internal battery would not resolve the issue, indicating that the charging issue is a software defect. It is still uncertain whether the iPadOS 15.6 beta, which is currently available to developers and users signed up for the Apple Beta Software Program, has fixed the charging issues with the iPad Mini 6.

The business has been advising employees at Apple Retail Stores and service partners to ask impacted customers to restart their iPad Minis as a temporary fix.

As stated earlier, we are unsure if the iPadOS 15.6 beta fixes this problem. However, installing beta software on your iPad
