As a small flagship phone, ASUS debuted the ZenFone 8 last year in various territories. Today, a Pricebaba report said that the incoming ZenFone 9 has the model number AI2202 on it. The ZenFone 9's design and specifications have now been revealed thanks to a fresh leak from TechGoing.

The ZenFone by ASUS

According to the source, ASUS unintentionally uploaded a ZenFone 9 promotional film to YouTube. The video was unavailable. The publication, however, seems to have downloaded it before it was deleted.

As seen, the ZenFone 9 will have a similar small size to the ZenFone 8. There will be four colours available: red, white, blue, and black. The phone has a dual-camera configuration on the back and a punch-hole display in the front. It has dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio connector, a volume rocker, a power key, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a ZenTouch key (a smart key to slide or change a page). The IP68 designation for water and dust protection applies to the ZenFone 9.

The video suggests that the Taiwanese company will provide buyers of the ZenFone 9 with a few extras. These include a clever backpack mount and a case with a card holder and a kickstand.

Specifications for the ASUS ZenFone 9 (rumored)

The ZenFone 9 boasts a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ quality. The gadget's chipset is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

The 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera on the ZenFone 9's back will enable 6-axis gimbal OIS. It is rumoured to have a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera attached. A 4,300mAh battery powers the gadget.

According to other speculations, the phone will contain 8 GB, 16 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage, a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, and 30W fast charging. The cost will be between 800 and 900 euros.
