According to a new source, Samsung might not release the Galaxy S22 FE (Fan Edition) this year. The Elec, a South Korean publication, has now published a new report claiming that Samsung has discontinued working on the Galaxy S22 FE. The business allegedly prefers to sell more Galaxy S22 Ultras than it does the S22 FE.
The rumour claims that Samsung has switched the chipsets intended for the Galaxy S22 FE processors to the S22 Ultra in order to boost production. Despite a processor scarcity, the S22 Ultra has apparently had great sales. To increase sales and earnings, the South Korean electronics behemoth will try to sell more S22 Ultras.
The Galaxy S22 FE was originally expected to be manufactured by Samsung in 3 million pieces this year. The S22 FE appears to have been dropped, however the story states that the Galaxy S23 FE will be unveiled in 2019. Even the company's intention to create 3 million S23 FE units is mentioned.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first device in Samsung's Galaxy S-series to include a built-in stylus. The Galaxy S-series has seen a decline in annual shipments over the past two years. However, the business shipped 10 million S22 Ultra units in the first half of 2022 and anticipates shipping the same amount in the second. Sales of the S22 range are being driven by the S22 Ultra. Because of this, it seems like the corporation is switching S22 FE chips to S22 Ultra.
Samsung announced that it would be releasing FE models every year when it debuted the Galaxy S20 FE in 2020. The S22 FE appears to have been cancelled
