According to an official statement from Xiaomi, pre-orders for the Redmi G gaming laptop series' 2022 model will open on July 21 at 10:00 PM (GMT+8).
Through their Weibo account, Xiaomi made this statement in an official manner. The Redmi G 2021, which debuted in September of last year, is the predecessor to the new-generation Redmi G series.
Notably, Xiaomi has all it takes to capture a market share in the gaming laptop market because to the Redmi G series' competitive cost and top-tier specifications.
The Ryzen 7 5800H, an RTX3060 graphics card, a performance release of 45W + 115W, 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD in terms of storage, and an 80Wh battery were all features of the Redmi G 2021 Ryzen Edition from the previous year.
The 16.1-inch 144Hz gaming screen of the Redmi G 2021 has earned German Rheinland low blue light certification. Also included in the Redmi G 2021 is "Hurricane Cooling 3.0" technology, which consists of four air exits, two sizable 12V fans, and five all-copper heat pipes.
The new Redmi G gamebook has already been seen on Xiaomi's official website, despite the company having not yet given it a formal unveiling. The pricing of the gaming laptop is listed at 6389 Yuan ($945 approximately) on the Xiaomi website. Clearly, Xiaomi is attempting to increase its market share in the gaming sector with yet another reasonably priced product.
Recall that the AMD and Intel versions of the 2021 Redmi G Gaming laptop were both available. In China, the starting price for the AMD model was 6999 Yuan, or $1,081; the starting price for the Intel model was 5,699 Yuan, or $880.
