Amazfit is best known for its smartwatches, but the company also makes fitness trackers. The Amazfit Band 7 is the company's newest fitness tracker, and it will soon be available for purchase.
As the name suggests, the Amazfit Band 7 will introduce a replacement for the Amazfit Band 5, which was introduced a few years ago. An updated report on the device's features and specifications has just appeared online.
The Redmi Smart Band Pro and the Amazfit Band 7, also known as Bari, share some design characteristics. It will have a 4.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 194 x 368 pixel resolution and a maximum brightness of 500 nits.
Additionally, a PPG heart rate sensor will be included with the device, allowing for 24/7 heart rate tracking in addition to sleep and stress monitoring. It can display notifications and perform other standard functions when paired with a smartphone, just like other similar devices.
More than 100 sports modes are said to be supported, along with automatic workout detection. The device will reportedly have 8MB of RAM and 128MB of storage, and it will support Bluetooth 5.1 pairing with smartphones running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and higher.
The fitness tracker is 28 grammes in weight and 5ATM water-resistant, according to reports. It is powered by a 230mAh battery, which can last up to 18 days with moderate use and nine days with heavy use. The device is anticipated to be released later this year and may cost $50 or less.
