As you may have already seen, the specifications for the Nothing phone (1) keep being revealed one after the other, every day, whether through an official teaser or - as in this instance - through other channels. According to a description of the gadget on the TUV Sud website, it can charge at a rate of up to 11V 3A, or 33W.
The Nothing phone (1) won't be at the vanguard of quick charging in today's market, but given its location and mid-range processor, it probably won't feel too out of place either. 33 Watts isn't terrible, but some of its rivals reach the high 60s and there are a few outliers here and there that do even more. Just as disappointing as it is.

It's interesting to note that TUV Sud certified the phone with a 45W charging brick. Uncertainty surrounds whether that will come in the package with the phone or whether Nothing will want to conserve resources like Samsung and Apple by forgoing the power brick. In the latter scenario, it is likely that the business will sell this 45W charger separately.
On July 12, the Nothing phone (1) will be officially launched. The Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, a 6.55-inch 120 Hz AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and wireless charging capability will all be featured on this device. In the EU, it should retail for at least €470.
