With the hiring of Mr. Avin Tse as the General Manager of its Indian division, Xiaomi changed the composition of its leadership team last month. Today, the business announced the appointment of Mr. Muralikrishnan B as its President, marking yet another shift.
As Chief Operating Officer of Xiaomi India since 2018, Muralikrishnan played a key role in the expansion of the company's offline sales, services, and other areas.
Starting on August 1, 2022, Muralikrishnan will take on the role of President of Xiaomi India, managing all daily operations, services, public relations, and strategic projects while also bolstering Xiaomi's support for the "Make in India" and "Digital India" programmes of the Indian government.
Mr. Raghu Reddy, the Chief Business Officer, Mr. Sameer BS Rao, the Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Anuj Sharma, the Chief Marketing Officer, make up the remainder of Xiaomi India's executive team. They joined Xiaomi from Poco India last month as a result of organisational changes.
Previously in charge of Xiaomi India's leadership team, Mr. Manu Jain migrated to a worldwide position as the Group Vice President last month and is now in charge of the company's international strategy, which includes marketing and PR.
