Muralikrishnan B has been chosen by Xiaomi India to lead the division's activities in that country. He served as the business's chief operating officer for India in the past. Since 2018, Muralikrishnan has a relationship with Xiaomi.
Muralikrishnan will be in charge of daily operations, services, public affairs, and strategic projects as the new President of Xiaomi India. He will keep working to increase the business' support for the Make in India and Digital India programmes.
IIM-Calcutta graduate Muralikrishnan has over 25 years of expertise in the field of consumer technology. He previously served as the COO of Jabong India and the CEO of eBay in India before joining Xiaomi India. Muralikrishnan served as the company's Senior Vice President as well (an Indian e-commerce platform).
According to a press release from Xiaomi India, "Under Muralikrishnan's capable leadership, the company has achieved robust growth across categories, has significantly scaled its organisational capabilities, and execution machinery, and developed a solid foundation in the offline retail market."
Additionally, Xiaomi stated that it would continue to "remain true to its fundamental idea of delivering innovation for everyone" and concentrate on reaffirming its commitment to the nation. The organisation declared that the new modifications would take effect on August 1st, 2022.
Recently, Xiaomi has made several significant changes to the top positions. Alvin Tse was recruited by the corporation as the general manager of the Indian branch last month. Additionally, Xiaomi rehired Anuj Sharma as its Chief Marketing Officer. According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate's investigation and legal issues with the corporation are the cause of these recent adjustments.
