In China, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition was revealed. This month, a number of firms introduced flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Realme's first phone to run on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform is the GT 2 Master Explorer, which replaces the previous GT Master Explorer. Other notable features include a stylish appearance, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, LPDDR5X RAM, and an improved heat dissipation system. Furthermore, it is the first Realme phone to offer 100W fast charging.

Realme phones with the "Master Edition" moniker are renowned for having excellent designs. The edges of the aluminium casing of the Realme GT 2 ME's plain leather back are riveted shut. It sports a thin bezel-around AMOLED display with a punch-hole in the centre on the front. A Gorilla Glass Victus layer protects the display. The device weighs about 199 grammes and has dimensions of 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2mm.

Features of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer's 6.7-inch AMOLED display features an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 10-bit colours, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The X7 standalone graphic chip powers the display for extremely low latency frame insertion.

The gadget is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. LPDDR5X RAM utilises 20% less power than LPDDR5, in addition to operating at faster speeds. The system has up to UFS 3.1 storage capacity. For improved heat dissipation, the device has a twin vapour chamber liquid cooling system.

When the Realme GT Neo 3 was first introduced this year, it supported 150W charging. Later models like the Realme Q5 Pro / GT Neo 3T included 80W charging capabilities. The Realme GT 2 ME can charge at 100W. The device will come with a 100W GaN (gallium nitride) charger, which the manufacturer claims can fully charge it in just 25 minutes.

A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 150-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel microscope lens with up to 40x magnification are all included in the back camera module.

Realme UI 3.0 and Android 12 OS are both used by the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer. Dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity features available on the smartphone.
