The Xiaomi 12S lineup, the first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, was announced by Xiaomi yesterday. The following manufacturers are scheduled to introduce their SD8+G1 flagships: ASUS, Red Magic, and Realme. iQOO announced the iQOO 10 series is coming soon in a Weibo post that was published during the Xiaomi 12S's unveiling event.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be used in the iQOO 10 lineup, according to the brand's recently released poster, which is shown below. The iQOO 10 and the iQOO 10 Pro are the two models that will be part of the series, according to earlier reports. The iQOO 10 lineup, according to some Chinese tippers, may become official on July 19.
The iQOO 10 Pro, with model number V2218A, just recently showed up in the TENAA certification site's database with all of its key specifications. While the vanilla model's specifications are unknown, leaked renders showed a dual-tone design and a triple camera unit with gimbal OIS. It seems possible that the iQOO 10 Pro will also have a similar appearance.
Specifications for the iQOO 10 Pro (rumored)
A 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a QHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and an in-display fingerprint scanner will be included with the iQOO Pro. The iQOO UI will be displayed on top of the Android 12 OS.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will be the one powering the iQOO 10 Pro. It will have up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The iQOO 10 Pro's triple rear camera system will consist of two 50-megapixel cameras and a 14.6-megapixel lens. The latter appears to be a 3x zoom telephoto lens. There will probably be a 4,550mAh dual-cell battery inside the smartphone. It is anticipated to offer 200W fast charging for smartphones for the first time ever. It will reportedly support 65W wireless charging, according to reports.
