Launch information for the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition has been confirmed.

When Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in May, the existence of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition was confirmed. Realme stated last month that the GT2ME will become a reality in July. The business announced the launch date today on its Weibo account.

On July 11 in China, Realme will announce the GT 2 Master Explorer edition at 2:00 PM (local time). Chinese certification portals like 3C and TENAA recently approved a Realme phone with the model number RMX3551.

The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen on the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition will have a central cutout. It will have a 1080 x 2400 pixel Full HD+ resolution. Given that it will be a flagship device, a refresh rate of 120Hz is likely to be available.



The Realme GT 2 ME's engine will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device is expected to have 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of internal storage in addition to 6 GB, 8 GB, or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. A 5,000mAh dual-cell battery with a 100W charging capacity will power the smartphone.


A 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel triple camera module will be on the device's back panel. It will have a front-facing 16-megapixel camera for selfies. A built-in fingerprint reader and Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top are some of its additional features. It weighs about 199 grammes and has dimensions of 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2mm. The device will be available in white, brown.
