Launch date for Red Magic 7S series confirmed; official renderings appear

The launch date for the Red Magic 7S series has been confirmed. On July 11 at 3 PM (local time), Nubia will hold a launch event for the Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro in China. Since these smartphones have been discovered in the TENAA certification platform's database, their specifications are already known. In addition to announcing the launch date, the company also unveiled the Red Magic 7S Pro's official renders.

The Red Magic 7S Pro handset is the item displayed. The phone's transparent, silver-colored back has a triple camera unit with LED flash, an AIR inlet in the upper half, and a centrifugal fan with RGB lighting that can spin at up to 20,000 RPMs. It has gaming trigger buttons on its right spine for a better gaming experience.

The Red Magic 7S Pro is confirmed to have a 5,000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and ICE 10.0 liquid-cooling technology, which can be turned on using the red switch that is located on the left edge. The Red Magic 7S Pro's centre displays the company's branding and logo. The phone's front view reveals that it has a selfie camera hidden beneath the display.



Specifications for the Red Magic 7S Pro (rumored)

The Red Magic 7S Pro will have a 6.8-inch OLED FHD+ display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, according to the TENAA listing. Up to 18 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage will be included with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered device. Red Magic UI and Android 12 OS will power it.

It will have 64-megapixel triple rear cameras and an under-display selfie camera with an aperture of 8 or 16 megapixels. There will be a 5,000mAh battery inside. Other features like a 165Hz refresh rate and support for 135W or 165W fast charging are anticipated.


The Red Magic 7S Pro is anticipated to have a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging, an 8-megapixel front camera, and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Its other specifications will be the same as those of the Pro model.
