For its July 4th-released P50 Pocket smartphone, Huawei recently introduced two new colours. The leading manufacturer of smartphones in China also unveiled its first anti-lost product alongside the smartphone. Huawei released the product in an effort to further explore smartphone accessories.

The anti-lost device, which is the first of its kind in Huawei's lineup, is now known as Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Wizard. According to the official introduction, the device has a 5.6mm thickness and a 6g weight. With a maximum 92-decibel siren and a pop-up window that can quickly alert you when items are left behind, it supports near-field search technologies.

The Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Wizard is three times more expensive than the Apple AirTag at 69 Chinese Yuan ($10) for a leather keychain, 299 Chinese Yuan ($45) for a four-piece set, and 99 Chinese Yuan ($15) for a single unit. It will be formally unveiled on July 30.

With long-range object detection, remote location via Huawei's "find" network, and positioning via hundreds of millions of Huawei devices, the Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Wizard offers excellent functionality. The Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Wizard enables anonymous two-way communication, encrypted reporting of location data, and a long-term security reminder feature for unidentified Huawei Tags to prevent tracking.

The Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Wizard is suitable for long-term use and ensures durability with its IP67 dust and water resistance, NFC connectivity, and a battery life of more than a year. Additionally, a leather keychain is available as an extra.

Anti-lost gadgets are now a typical smartphone accessory. The Apple AirTag and the Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag, which retail for about 200 Chinese Yuan ($30) and 249 Chinese Yuan ($39), respectively, will be in direct competition with the Huawei Tag Anti-Lost Wizard. In the first half of 2021, both of them were put into orbit.
