The Asus Zenfone smartphone of the newest generation is about to hit the market. The future small phone, as its name suggests, will be the Zenfone 8Z, which was released last year, as its predecessor.

The Asus Zenfone 9's debut event is scheduled to begin tomorrow, July 28, at 9:00 PM GMT+8. Accordingly, it will begin at 09:30 in Taipei, 09:30 in New York, 03:30 in Berlin, and 06:00 in India.

The launch ceremony will be broadcast live by the corporation on its official YouTube account. You can view the event by going here or by accessing the embedded video below.

The phone has leaked a few times prior to release, giving information on what to anticipate from the gadget. The 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display on the Asus Zenfone 9 (Asus 9z) will have a Full HD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor will power the gadget, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The camera will use a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens in a dual-camera arrangement on the rear. A 12-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls is located on the front.

The smartphone will come pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system and the ZenUI custom user interface. A 30W charger and a 4,300mAh battery will be included in the box with the gadget.

There will be four colour options available for the Asus Zenfone 9: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, Sunset Red, and Starry Blue. The top-end variant in the range with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage might cost €799 if the leaks and rumours are accurate.
