Today, Lenovo made the new Legion Y70 smartphone official. The company also said that the new Legion device will go on sale in August. The company promises tremendous performance, and the device is anticipated to have a slimmer and lighter design. On the websites for CMIIT certification and Geekbench, the Lenovo Legion Y70 is already available.

Lenovo released the most recent Lenovo Legion Y70 on Weibo. The business stated that the smartphone will launch in August and provided a graphic showing off the smartphone's rear camera module. According to the poster, the smartphone will have three rear cameras arranged in a triangle on a rectangular island. The smartphone will include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, according to the advertisement.

As previously indicated, the device was already discovered on Geekbench and the CMIIT website, which provided all of its key technical details. The 6.67-inch OLED display on the Lenovo Legion Y70 is believed to have a resolution of 2400 x 1080.

The smartphone will likely feature 8K video recording and will include a triple 50-megapixel camera arrangement on the back. A 4880mAh battery capable of 68W fast charging may power it. A fingerprint scanner positioned on the side of the device is anticipated. The smartphone will weigh 205g and have a thickness of 7.99mm. There are reportedly two colour choices for it: grey and silver.

Although CMIIT states that the phone utilises a 3.0GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip, the Geekbench 5 running score reveals that the handset actually uses a 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 Soc. This raises questions about the smartphone's processor. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, together with up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, are most likely to power it.
