Samsung is changing the aspect ratios of the cover and internal displays for the fourth generation Galaxy Z Fold, which will be released on August 10. It will change from a 24.5:9 to a 23:9 cover display. According to this photograph posted by Ice Universe, the business has also managed to marginally reduce the bezels.
It displays the Galaxy Z Fold3 (bottom), the vivo X Fold (top), and the new Galaxy Z Fold4 (middle) (bottom). The horizontal and vertical bezels are both thinner than they were on the previous Z Fold.
Another thing to note in this image is how dramatically different and more compact the hinge's profile is. According to speculations, the new hinge has been developed to minimise the wrinkle.
Here is a render that serves as an illustration for the new aspect ratio. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 will be larger, giving apps on the cover display a little bit more horizontal space and making the upper portion of the display a little bit easier to access.
The internal display's aspect ratio will change from 6.25:5 to 6:5, bringing it closer to a square. In the three weeks before the Unpacked presentation, Samsung has promised to release some official teasers, so we anticipate hearing more about the display and hinge speculations.
The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4's first official renders for an inside peek have already surfaced online. By the way, US customers who reserve a unit will receive a $100 store credit and, if they also order the Galaxy Watch5 and the new Galaxy Buds, a $200 shop credit (both of which will be unveiled at the same Unpacked event).
