Recently, Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro, Nubia's most recent flagship smartphones, which are supported by ZTE, were released. Both smartphones are now for sale in the Chinese market.
The Red Magic 6S and 6S Pro were released last year and were replaced by the recently released premium gaming smartphones, which are a substantial upgrade in terms of features and specifications.
The Red Magic 7S's base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 3,999 yuan (about $592), while the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 4,799 yuan (about $710). Priced at 4,899 yuan ($725) for the Deuterium front translucent model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 5,499 yuan ($814) for the variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The Red Magic 7S Pro, on the other hand, costs 5,199 yuan ($770) for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Pricing ranges from 5,299 yuan ($784) for the Deuterium model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage to 5,999 yuan ($888) for the top-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
With a 6.8-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display and a refresh rate of 165Hz, the Red Magic 7S series outperforms the Pro model's 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm powers both smartphones.
To keep the phone cool when playing intense video games, the regular model contains ICE 9.0 Liquid Cooling Technology, while the Pro model has ICE 10.0 Liquid Cooling Technology. Both smartphones use the Red Magic 5.0 user interface together with the Android 12 operating system.
The 4,500mAh battery in the Nubia Red Magic 7S supports 120W fast charging, while the 5,000mAh battery in the Red Magic 7S Pro model supports 135W fast charging.
