For its assortment of devices, Apple constantly releases new firmware and software updates. Following the conclusion of its yearly Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the business unveiled a number of new and forthcoming features.
The Apple AirPods 2, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max are among the AirPods models for which the company has now begun to roll out a new beta firmware version.
Version numbers range from 5A5282d to 5A5304a on the new beta version of Apple's AirPods lineup. The new firmware can currently only be downloaded by developers from the Apple developer website.
Additionally, the user must be using an Apple iPhone with the most recent iOS 16 beta operating system or a Mac with the macOS Ventura beta and Xcode 14 beta for the supporting AirPods in order to install this new beta software for the wearable audio products.
According to Apple, this updated beta firmware version has bug and stability fixes in addition to improvements to the Automatic Switching. The software will be made available to all AirPods once testing is over, which may happen this fall.
