On Friday, the Honor X8 5G was introduced. The smartphone is the Honor X8's 5G brother, which debuted earlier this year. Hardware for the 5G version is less advanced than for the 4G version. In contrast to its 4G model, which uses a Snapdragon 680 SoC, the new device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. A 48-megapixel main camera, a triple rear camera system, a 6.5-inch LCD screen, and a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W rapid charging are also included in the Honor X8 5G.
Price and availability of the Honor X8 5G
The Honor X8 5G's price has not yet been made public. There is only one 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option for the smartphone. The colour possibilities for it are Midnight Black and Ocean Blue.
Specifications for the Honor X8 5G
The Honor X8 5G has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) display with a 20:09 aspect ratio and runs Magic UI 4.2, which is based on Android 11. The phone has a Snapdragon 480+ SoC, an Adreno 619 GPU, and 6GB of RAM inside.
A 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, a depth sensor, and a macro camera are all housed in a triple rear camera arrangement. The Honor X8 5G has an 8-megapixel front camera sensor with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video chats.
128GB of inbuilt storage are included with the Honor X8 5G. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port are among the available forms of connectivity. There are several sensors on board, including an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. Additionally, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
A 5,000mAh battery inside the Honor X8 5G smartphone enables 22.5W SuperCharge quick charging. Additionally, the phone weighs 194 grammes and has dimensions of 163.66x75.13x8.68mm.
