In India, Xiaomi's senior management has been reshuffled in preparation for the 'growth time.'

Alvin Tse has been named the new General Manager of the Chinese IT giant, succeeding Manu Kumar Jain, who was the former managing director in India. Manu, on the other hand, has been the worldwide Vice President of Xiaomi since last year, as well as the head of International Marketing and PR. Notably, the latest release also confirms that Anuj Sharma, the CEO of POCO India, would join Xiaomi as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Alvin Tse, interestingly, was a part of Xiaomi's global founding team and even the former General Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia. Tse has also assisted the brand in effectively expanding in the worldwide market, operating in four of the world's biggest smartphone and internet markets. He is now a member of the Indian leadership team, where he will assist the brand's ambitions for the next phase of expansion.

Surprisingly, the revelation comes as Xiaomi is being investigated by the Indian authorities. Manu Kumar Kain, the company's previous MD, was recently charged with tax fraud, and the government seized the company's assets, which totaled 5,550 crores INR (roughly 708 million US Dollars). These were, however, issued later.
