Xiaomi India is undergoing significant adjustments in order to pave the path for future growth!
One of the most significant developments at Xiaomi India is the promotion of Manu Kumar Jain to Group Vice President, with responsibilities for International Strategy, International Marketing, and Public Relations
Manu Kumar Jain is promoted to Vice President and will be in charge of International Strategy, Marketing, and Public Relations.
Kumar had previously been summoned by The Enforcement Directorate to answer questions about the company's alleged violations of foreign exchange legislation, as well as his knowledge of the case. However, according to a court document filed by Xiaomi, many of the company's top executives were subjected to "physical assault" while being questioned by the regulatory authority. The Enforcement Directorate issued a statement denying the threats and claimed that all of the officials testified under the most favourable conditions possible.
Since Kumar's arrival in India, the Xiaomi India leadership team, which includes Muralikrishnan B, Chief Operating Officer, Raghu Reddy, Chief Business Officer, and Sameer BS Rao, Chief Financial Officer, has done an outstanding job managing and pioneering the India business in a fair and independent manner.
The job of General Manager will be filled by Alvin Tse.
One of the main changes at Xiaomi India is that Alvin Tse, a member of the Xiaomi Global founding team, POCO founding member, and previous General Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia, will take over as General Manager in Xiaomi India. Following this transfer, Alvin and the Xiaomi India leadership team will work together to take the firm to the next level of development.
Alvin has been a valuable asset to Xiaomi, pushing the company into numerous worldwide markets, whether because of his British heritage or because he is a true global citizen. With his Stanford education and experience working in four of the world's largest smartphone and internet markets, Alvin enjoys bridging markets, people, and possibilities.
