Xiaomi Game Turbo 5.0 is now available for download and upgrade!

Game Turbo 5.0 is now available on global Xiaomi devices, while it is not yet available for China Beta devices for unclear reasons. We'll show you how to install it on global devices, as well as new features and screenshots.

What is Game Turbo 5.0 all about?

Game Turbo on MIUI has been around for a while, and it has a lot of useful features. Its purpose is to improve the games and provide a better gaming experience while playing them by allowing you to use additional tools in-game without having to exit the game, such as floating windows, timers, and so on.

Features of Game Turbo 5.0

It's mostly the same as Game Turbo 4.0, but with the addition of a new tool called "Performance Monitor." It's also used to record your FPS in game so you can compare them after performing actions like enabling and disabling performance mode, as shown in the screenshot above. It's useful if you're attempting to compare FPS to see whether there's a problem with your phone, or if you're overclocking the phone, for example.

It's quite simple to set up. All you have to do now is follow our instructions for updating system apps. However, to make things easier, we'll walk you through the process step by step.

• Locate the APK file in the file manager. Once you've located it, tap on it.

• You're done once you've installed the APK.

That is all there is to it. Game Turbo 5.0 should now be installed on your device. Please don't try this in China Beta because it's been rolled out to the rest of the world and could break things there.

With the exception of the UI and the addition of a performance monitor in Game Turbo 5.0, they are nearly identical. Aside than that, they are identical.

• What is the purpose of a performance monitor?

It's a programme that allows you to compare your FPS in the past and presently. For example, testing performance mode, trying a kernel, and so on.

• Will Game Turbo 5.0 be released for MIUI ROMs in China?

Unfortunately, we don't know if Xiaomi will install it on China ROMs as well.
