Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a wave of flagship phones in China. China's 3C authorities has authorised the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is said to be the company's first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset-powered phone. The certification has shown the smartphone's fast-charging capabilities, as expected.

Last year's Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra featured a 5,000mAh battery. 67W fast charging, 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging are all supported. There are many rumours that the Xiaomi phone identified in 3C's database with the model number 2203121C (via) is the impending Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

The device's 3C certification indicates that it may be paired with an MDY-12-EF charger that enables up to 67W quick charging. As a result, it looks that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will not provide any wired charging advantages over the prior model. It'll be interesting to see whether the 12 Ultra supports quicker wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to boast a 6.6-inch QHD+ 120Hz display and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, according to rumours. A 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS capability, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 48-megapixel periscope zoom snapper, and a 16-megapixel portrait lens might be included in its rear-facing camera unit.

Other Xiaomi flagship phones have been observed at the 3C certification location in recent days. The Xiaomi 12S (2206123SC), Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity 9000 edition (2207122MC), and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 (22061218C) have all been discovered to have 67W fast charging capabilities. The Xiaomi 12S Pro (2206122SC) model, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, may, however, offer 120W fast charging.
