Four Xiaomi flagship smartphones have been sighted on China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) website, including the Xiaomi 12 Ultra (L1), Xiaomi 12s Pro (L2S), Xiaomi 12s Pro Dimensity Edition (L2M), and Xiaomi 12s (L3S). According to the listing, the introduction of these devices is just around the corner. All four smartphones have now been discovered on the 3C certification website. Model numbers 2203121C, 2206123SC, 2206122SC, and 2207122MC surfaced on the CMIIT website for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, 12S, 12S Pro, and 12S Pro Dimensity edition, respectively. The CMIIT listing does not provide much information about the smartphone's specifications. It does, however, imply that Xiaomi may release these smartphones very soon.
The Xiaomi 12S Pro will be available in two SoC configurations, one with the Dimensity 9000 and the other with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. According to previous listings, the Snapdragon variant will have 120W fast charging, while the Dimensity variant would only have 67W charging. Other smartphone specifications are still unknown.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is the most intriguing of these four phones, since it is likely to revolutionise Xiaomi's photographic world with its Leica co-developed camera configuration. On the back, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to have a triple camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel main lens (with OIS), a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 48-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Finally, a ToF sensor and a laser autofocus sensor could be found on the back.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 + gen 1 SoC and feature 120W fast charging.
The Xiaomi 12S is rumoured to have the same chipset as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, as well as a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. For the back cameras, it could also have Leica-branded lenses.
