It appears that Redmi is planning to reintroduce the Redmi K series of smartphones in India, and the Redmi K50i 5G could be released soon. The Redmi K50i 5G will be an upper mid-range smartphone, and here are the specifications for India's next Dimensity 8100 SoC-powered device.
Specifications for the Redmi K50i 5G It appears that the Redmi K50i 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro. The smartphone is also known as the Poco X4 GT in some markets. A 6.67-inch FHD+ resolution IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate will be featured on the Redmi K50i 5G.
The Mediatek Dimensity 8100 SoC will power the Redmi K50i 5G, which will have 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. For faster app loading times and faster read and write speeds, the device is expected to use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Redmi K50i 5G is expected to come with Android 12 on top of a custom MIUI skin.
A triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor is said to be included on the back of the Redmi K50i 5G. The smartphone is expected to have a high-resolution selfie camera that can record in Full HD video. The primary camera on the Redmi K50i 5G is expected to be capable of recording up to 4K video. The Redmi K50i 5G is expected to be powered by a 5,080 mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging support. The Redmi K50i 5G, like any other Redmi smartphone, may not support wireless charging. There is currently no information on when the Redmi K50i 5G will be released.
