Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, which includes new photography functionality. The main upgrades include Night Photography in Portrait Mode and telephoto camera compatibility in Pro mode, both of which were first featured on the Galaxy S22, as well as certain third-party enhancements.
Thanks to Samsung's enhanced camera compatibility, video chats on WhatsApp, Google Meets and Duo, Microsoft Teams, Facebook Messenger, Zoom, and BlueJeans are now clearer. The Zoom-in and Zoom-out monitoring capability of up to 10 persons in a video is also available on the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, as long as they are within five metres of the phone.
The update is now seeding in Germany and Italy, with more territories to follow soon. The Fold3's firmware version is F926BXXU1CVEB, while the Flip3's firmware version is F711BXXU2CVEB. The firmware upgrade may be performed manually under the Software update option in Settings.
