With a Dimensity 700 SoC and 5,000 mAh battery, the iQOO U5e becomes official

The U5 and U5x were both announced by iQOO after the U5 in December of last year. The iQOO U5e, a new addition to the company's U5 line, is now available. It is simply a renamed version of the vivo Y33e, which will also be sold in China.


The iQOO U5e runs Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean out of the box and is powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC. It includes 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded by up to 1TB with a microSD card, and it has up to 6GB of RAM.


The 6.51" 60Hz HD+ LCD that powers the iQOO U5e has a notch for an 8MP front camera. On the back, it sports a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and an LED flash.


A USB-C connector on the U5e can deliver up to 18W of charging power to its 5,000 mAh battery. The iQOO U5e's other standout features include a 3.5mm headphone port, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and 5G connection.


The pricing of the 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB memory options for the iQOO U5e is CNY1,399 ($210/€200) and CNY1,499 ($225/€210), respectively. On vivo's official website in China, it is advertised, but no release date has been announced.
