In the second half of 2020, Samsung will release the Galaxy Tab A7. It was succeeded by the Galaxy Tab A8 at the end of 2021. The company is preparing to re-release the tablet with a new design almost two years after its initial release. Let's take a look at the next variation.
SamMobile reported in early May that Samsung is planning to release a slew of tablets. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition was one of them, and it became official a few days later.
Among other things, the publication mentioned a tablet with the model number SM-T503. This model number, according to GizPie's retail sources, belongs to the Galaxy Tab A7 2022 Edition.
The chipset has also been revealed by the sources, in addition to the branding. The 2022 Edition will be powered by a Unisoc T618 chip, as opposed to the original's Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC.
The Galaxy Tab A7 revival appears to have only one memory configuration, similar to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite refresh. The table will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
In terms of other features, the upcoming Samsung tablet is expected to have the same specifications as the original model. As a result, it'll almost certainly come with a 10.4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, quad speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, MicroSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 7,040mAh battery, and 15W fast charging support.
