Unboxing of the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition

The GT Neo 3 from Realme is presently the quickest charging phone on the market, at speeds of up to 150W. We just received an unique (ninja scroll) delivery, which turned out to be the Naruto edition Realme GT Neo 3, complete with the limited edition phone and a variety of related accessories. Let's take a closer look at the unpacking process and the software gimmicks that are included.

This isn't your typical phone booth, to be sure. Realme kept the Naruto concept alive by wrapping the GT Neo 3 in a scroll. Scrolls are important to the characters in the popular manga/anime series, thus this fits right in with the collaboration. The scroll is composed of a velvet-like plastic with a burgundy red leather-like flap kept in place by a pair of buckles.

We assumed that peeling the scroll would disclose the phone, but the entire component turned out to be purely decorative. You must first unlock the scroll's side pocket and slip out the cylindrical box containing the phone.

This is where we find the phone, which is orange and black with a metallic-looking camera island, all of which are designed to seem like Naruto. A Naruto shuriken SIM ejection tool, a clear silicone case, a black and orange USB-C cable, and a 160W charging brick with an orange paint job round out the remainder of the goods in the box.

Taking a closer look at the phone, we can see that the back has a soft-touch textured finish, and that the camera island, like the normal GT Neo 3, is made of glass, albeit it seems to be metal from afar and, more significantly, it matches Naruto's headband.

When you turn on the phone, you'll notice that you may customise it even further. A Naruto theme is pre-installed, complete with custom icons, music, and a Naruto charging animation, as well as three different backgrounds. The remainder of the experience is identical to that of the normal GT Neo 3, with 120Hz AMOLED, 50MP primary camera, Dimensity 8100 processor, and 4,500 mAh battery. The GT Neo3 has been reviewed and can be found here.

The Naruto edition Realme GT Neo 3 costs CNY 2,799 (about $420) in China and is one of the best-looking limited-edition phones we've seen. It remains to be seen if it will find its way to worldwide markets.
