The Vivo T2x has been quietly launched in China as the company's latest T series model. The new Vivo phone succeeds the Vivo T1x, which was released last year. The Vivo T2x, like the Vivo T1x, has a waterdrop-style display notch and dual rear cameras. It does, however, come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, which is a significant upgrade. A 6,000mAh battery is also included in the new model. The Vivo 1Tx had a 5,000mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. The new Vivo model also has a 144Hz display, which is an improvement over the 120Hz display found on last year's phone. Price and availability of the Vivo T2x The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Vivo T2x costs CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,800). The phone is also available in an 8GB + 256GB model, which costs CNY 1,899 in China (roughly Rs. 22,100). The phone is available for pre-order on China's JD.com, with pre-orders beginning on Tuesday. Customers who pre-order the Vivo T2x will receive a discount of CNY 100 (roughly Rs. 1,200). According to the JD.com listing, the Vivo T2x will be available for purchase in China starting June 6. Details on the Vivo phone's availability in other markets have yet to be revealed. The Vivo T1x was released in China in October for the same starting price of CNY 1,699 as the Vivo T2x, but with a 6GB + 128GB configuration. The previous-generation model had an 8GB + 128GB option for CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 21,000) and an 8GB + 256GB model for CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 22,000). (roughly Rs. 30,300). Specifications for the Vivo T2x The Vivo T2x is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android and has a 6.58-inch IPS display with a 144Hz dynamic refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also has a DCI-P3 colour gamut and a peak brightness of 650 nits. The Vivo T2x is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and 8GB of RAM as standard.. The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens. A 2-megapixel macro lens is also included in the camera setup. The Vivo T2x has a selfie camera sensor on the front for selfies and video chats. However, the front-facing sensor's megapixel count has yet to be revealed. The Vivo T2x has a UFS 3.1 storage capacity of up to 256GB. The Vivo T2x has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side. The Vivo T2x has a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Furthermore, the phone is 163.87x75.33x9.21mm in size and weighs 202.8 grammes.
