If you've ever worn a Galaxy watch, you know how exciting it is to turn the physical revolving bezel. It's definitely Samsung's Galaxy watches' most popular feature. The bezel makes scrolling across widgets, panels, and apps a breeze. However, according to a recent report, the popular rotating bezel could be on its way out.

Samsung was said to be considering eliminating the traditional watch design, as well as physical rotating bezels. Now, according to a fresh tweet from tipster Ice Universe, the South Korean IT behemoth may actually do it.

Ice Universe responded to a tweet from a user who expressed optimism that Samsung will keep the bezel on the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, saying, "the galaxy watch5 Pro will disappoint you." He didn't explicitly state that the watch will not feature a rotating bezel, but his tweet hinted at it.

It's worth noting that Samsung tried to do away with this hardware capability in earlier watches as well, but the move was so widely panned that it had to reinstate it. The spinning bezel has no effect on the watch's waterproofing or durability, and it's actually a highly popular feature among users, so we're not sure why Samsung is attempting to self-destruct by going down that path.

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is said to have OLED screens, Wear OS, GPS, IP rating, skin temperature monitoring, and all of the required tracking sensors, according to speculations. The watch is said to have a large 580mAh battery. According to reports, the watch 5 Pro would be made of titanium and sapphire.

The introduction of Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5 range is still months away. Samsung is expected to showcase its newest Galaxy watches, as well as its fresh new foldables, in August.
