Yesterday, a rumour surfaced that revealed the whole spec sheet as well as renderings for the forthcoming OPPO K10 5G. The smartphone has now been formally teased, along with its debut date in India.
The K10 5G has a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, which confirms that it will be available in India on June 8. Because the teaser hasn't released any details yet, let's take a look at some of the leaked details to get a sense of what to expect.
Specifications of the OPPO K10 5G (rumored)
The smartphone would have a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ quality and a 90Hz refresh rate, according to a recent leak by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. There are significant bezels around the screen, as well as a dew-drop notch.
The smartphone is reported to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 810 5G chipset, which is coupled with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The handset will be available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage from OPPO. It is reported to be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W quick charging capability. Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1 will be preloaded on the handset.
It will include a dual-camera arrangement on the back, with a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for optics. The handset is rumoured to contain an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Support for seven 5G bands, dual stereo speakers, a side-facing fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio connector, and OPPO Glow Design are among the smartphone's other features. It has a thickness of 7.9mm and weighs 190 grammes.
Availability & Pricing
The smartphone will be available in India through Flipkart and will most likely come in two colours: blue and black. The device's price is still unknown, but given that it's a rebranded version of the OPPO A77 5G, which went on sale in Thailand for THB 9,999 ($291; 22,750), we may assume the K10 5G to be around the 20,000 price range.
