Oppo released the A77 in May 2017 with 4G connection, and the firm has now revealed a 5G version with a more modern style and improved features, as predicted. The Oppo A77 5G features a 6.56" HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a max brightness of 600 nits. The screen is 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and features a notch for the 8MP selfie camera, which is a resolution drop from the 16MP one on the 4G edition. A rectangular camera island with two LED flash modules and two cameras - 48MP main and 2MP depth - can be found around the rear. With certain software tricks, the former can even capture 108MP photos. The Oppo logo is prominently displayed on the smartphone's back panel. The Oppo A77 5G runs ColorOS 12.1 out of the box and is powered by the Dimensity 810 SoC. The Android version hasn't been stated on Oppo's official website, but it's reasonable to assume we're looking at Android 12. The A77 5G comes with 6GB of RAM that can be practically increased up to 5GB. The smartphone comes with 128GB of storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. A 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging capabilities powers the complete package, promising to charge 53% in 30 minutes and 100% in 69 minutes. IPX4 water resistance, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers for a dual-channel surround sound experience are among the other characteristics of the Oppo A77 5G. The Oppo A77 5G is available in Ocean Blue and Midnight Black and costs THB9,999 ($290/€270). It will be available in Thailand starting June 10, but there is no word on whether it will be available in other regions.
