When Nothing announced the debut of its first-ever Android smartphone, dubbed the Nothing Phone, it caught everyone off guard (1). While the brand has announced that the Nothing Phone (1) will be released sometime this summer, little information about its characteristics and capabilities has been released so far. Fortunately, a new leak has surfaced, revealing the display characteristics of the Nothing Phone (1). Let's take a look at what we've got.

The Nothing Phone (1) is believed to have a 6.55-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, as seen in the tweet above. Flat edges are reported to be present on the device. The report also states that the Nothing Phone (1) would not have a chin, something the brand hinted not long ago. The tweet also includes a concept image of the Nothing Phone (1), which resembles the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus in appearance. As a result, we can anticipate a profile similar to that of the Nothing Phone (1).
Specifications for the phone (1) (expected)
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU is rumoured to be used in the Nothing Phone (1). A bespoke chipset is expected to be used in the gadget. At least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage could be included with the processor. The Nothing Phone (1) will almost certainly come pre-installed with the latest Android 12 skin.
The Nothing Phone (1) will have a 50MP main camera with OIS capability for photography. It's also rumoured that the smartphone will have a translucent back. The Nothing Phone (1) potentially have a 4,500mAh/5,000mAh battery with support for rapid charging through a USB Type-C charging connection, though this has not been confirmed. Finally, the Nothing Phone (1) will have NFC capabilities.
