Since then, further information have been provided providing suggestions as to what we may anticipate from the future watch, which was first announced at Google's I/O event in May. The smartwatch's battery size has been speculated in previous publications (300mAh). But now, according to a new source, the smartwatch's battery life has been disclosed, and it's not what you would have imagined.

9to5 According to Google, the Pixel Watch will only last a day on a single charge, citing sources. This is Google's current estimate at this stage of the pre-release process, and it may change before the launch. It's also unclear whether Google used technologies like Always-On Display (AOD) or sleep tracking throughout the trial period.

According to current estimates, the Google Watch will be a disappointment, and it will become just another wristwatch on the market. We don't know about other characteristics, but it's on line with expensive watches like the Galaxy Watch 4 and Apple Watch Series 7. In terms of battery life, it's on par with them.

If that wasn't enough for you, we have one more bit of bad news for you. This time, it's about the Pixel Watch's charging time. According to the source, the Pixel watch does not allow fast charging, and it takes around the same amount of time to completely charge as the Galaxy Watch 4, which is roughly 110 minutes.

It's not quite as quick as Apple's Series 7, which offers 0-80% in 45 minutes and 0–100% in 75 minutes with USB-C and a 20W converter. It's worth mentioning, though, that the Pixel watch is still in the development stage, so these figures may alter.
