While the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro has previously been introduced in the worldwide market, the high-end tablet has only recently been offered in India, albeit at a premium price.
To begin with, the Tab P12 Pro features a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and HDR10+ compatibility. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood, as well as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is powered by a massive 10,200mAh battery pack that also enables 30W rapid charging. A 13 megapixel dual camera setup is found on the back, while an 8 megapixel selfie camera is found on the front.
For those unfamiliar, the Tab P12 Pro was first released in China in November 2021 as the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6. In the Chinese market, this model started at roughly $560 USD. However, the pricing is approximately twice in India, with a starting price of 69,999 INR (about 900 USD). As a result, the tablet is months late and comes at a premium price. It competes with other high-end tablets at this price, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, which starts at 70,999 INR.
Surprisingly, the new tablet is also one of the few devices that can run Android 12L. Google introduced this OS version last year, and it was designed primarily for large-screen smartphones and foldable devices. The new Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is now available in India on Amazon, the company's own website, and even special Lenovo retail outlets.
