The Xiaomi 12S series of smartphones has recently been the subject of several leaks and reports. One of the phones in the series was discovered in the testing programme Geekbench's database. The RAM, storage, and processor variations of the Xiaomi 12S line of smartphones have now been disclosed by tipster Mukul Sharma.

According to the source, the Xiaomi 12S base model would include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The higher-end models will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage, as well as 12GB of RAM and 512GB of native storage. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core CPU will power this one. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12S Pro is rumoured to offer up to 120W fast charging. The phone will come in a variety of RAM and storage configurations. 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be included in the base model. The Xiaomi 12S will be followed by additional higher-end models of the device.


In the case of the Xiaomi 12S Pro, the phone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU rather than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC seen on the other variants. There will be two RAM and storage options for the MediaTek model: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. It should also be able to accommodate a 120W fast-charging battery. In the coming month, Xiaomi is scheduled to officially launch the Xiaomi 12S series of smartphones.
