Samsung's anticipated Galaxy Z Fold4 has been the subject of several leaks recently, and we now have another another piece of information about it. According to the latest rumours, the foldable smartphone would come with a storage capacity of 1TB.

That's twice as much storage as the Galaxy Z Fold3's highest capacity, and should enough for even the most voracious digital material hoarders. It's unknown what Samsung will charge for the Fold4, although the Fold3's 512GB variant cost $1,899. If the pricing of the 512GB Fold4 remains the same at launch, the 1TB variant should sell for at least $1,999, if not $2,049 or even $2,099.

The storage capacity is critical because the Fold3 has a microSD card slot, and its successor is quite likely to follow suit. So what you get when you buy the phone is the most you'll ever get, which means Samsung's decision to be more flexible in delivering more alternatives is a smart one. Obviously, since this is still only a rumour, don't take it too seriously.

The Fold4 is expected to be lighter than the Fold3, and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, according to prior reports. A 4,400 mAh battery is said to be powering the lights.
