Samsung has officially launched the One UI 4.5 Beta for people that joined online to test it on the Samsung Galaxy Watch4. The list of supported devices on the beta version of the Samsung Health app has increased to include two unannounced Galaxy Watch models: the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro. Despite prior reports that there will be three Watch5 variants, this is not the case.
We may extrapolate from this data that Samsung will not release a "Classic" edition of the Watch5 with a rotating bezel. In addition, placeholders in the Samsung Health Beta software display a Galaxy Watch4 alongside the Watch5 and Watch5 Pro.
According to 9to5Google, a similar scenario happened on a test copy of the Samsung Health app prior to the introduction of the Watch4 and Watch4 Classic, with placeholders for the devices being the Galaxy Watch Active2 and the Galaxy Watch 3 – to represent the two Watch form factors.
Another rumour from earlier this week indicated that the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will not feature a rotating bezel. This report backs up that assertion. A big 572 mAh battery, sapphire glass, and maybe a thermometer are also rumoured for the Watch5 Pro.
