Back in April, Google and iFixit announced a partnership in which customers would be able to buy original Pixel parts on iFixit so they could carry out their own repairs using iFixit's instructions.
After more than two months, Google now declares that authentic replacement parts for Pixel smartphones are now available for purchase on iFixit's website. The website offers easy-to-follow repair instructions for anyone interested in performing a DIY repair as well as tool sets and replacement kits for popular electronics.
Since the original Pixel, iFixit carries replacement parts for all subsequent generations (though some of the original Pixel parts may be out of stock). A Google Pixel 6 Pro display replacement kit costs $193, and a Google Pixel 5a display replacement kit costs $93. A Google Pixel 6 battery replacement kit costs $43, while a Google Pixel 5 screen replacement kit costs $150.
Visit iFixit's landing page to view all the parts offered for Google's smartphones if you own a new or old Pixel phone and are willing to attempt a DIY repair on your own.
