Motorola may be aiming to give its "Go" range of phones a fresh lease of life. That's what a leaked render suggests, at least. The photographs, which come courtesy of an industry leakster, depict what appears to be an inexpensive phone with a vintage style.

A few specifications are displayed directly on the picture, as it is a controls layout tour of sorts. From the front, we can see thick bezels and a very broad chin, as well as a "multi-touch display." It's almost certainly an LCD. A 5MP selfie camera is housed in a teardrop notch.

With a volume rocker and power button on the right and a hybrid SIM and microSD card tray on the left, the control arrangement appears to be fairly familiar. So expandable storage is verified, but whether or not the slot is dedicated remains to be seen. A fingerprint reader is hidden behind an iconic Motorola logo dimple around the rear. That location is extremely appealing to many individuals.

That pretty much sums up all of the information provided thus far. A reasonable assumption would be that the Moto g Go will run a version of Google's lightweight Android Go OS release. Motorola has an event set on June 7, when it is expected to debut the Moto G82 in India, according to the calendar of forthcoming events. Perhaps the new Moto g Go will arrive with it in a low-key manner? Let's hope for the best.
