The US retailer Best Buy already has a listing for the budget-friendly Pixel on its website as "Coming Soon" in anticipation of the Google Pixel 6a hitting retail stores next month. The Google Pixel 6a, which will retail for $449 in the US, was completely unveiled last month during Google I/O, so the listing doesn't offer anything new.
Chalk (white), Sage (green), and Charcoal will be the available colours for the Pixel 6a (Black). The renderings that made up every image on Best Buy's website were recently published by @evleaks. Two SKUs are available at Best Buy, one unlocked and the other a Verizon model.
The entry-level Pixel device for this year, powered by Google's Tensor chipset, will be the Pixel 6a. There is an 8MP front-facing camera, a 12.2 MP rear camera, and a 12 MP ultra shooter. There is only one 128GB storage model with 6GB of RAM, and the 4,410 mAh battery will enable 18W fast charging. The Pixel 6a will also sport a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 6a will open on July 21 and the device will become generally available on July 28.
