At its yearly I/O developer conference last month, Google unveiled the mid-range Pixel 6a. Pre-orders for the smartphone will be accepted starting on July 21, and sales will start on July 28. The Pixel 6a has begun to arrive in US retailers early of the sale date, but buyers cannot yet purchase it.
The Pixel 6a was discovered on Best Buy's website by leaker Roland Quandt. It is described in the hues of Charcoal, Sage, and Chalk. The listing also includes price and carrier aggregations information for the smartphone. The price of the Pixel 6a's T-Mobile unlocked model is $449. However, Verizon's version will be $50 more expensive and cost $499. It includes millimeter-wave 5G, which is reportedly quicker than sub-6GHz 5G. The Pixel 6a will also be available via AT&T, however it is not listed on Best Buy.
Buyers may currently add the Pixel 6a to their basket, it's important to note. The option will probably be available on July 28th, which also happens to be the day the smartphone goes on sale.
The Google Pixel 6a replaces the Pixel 5a from previous year. It features a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The dual back camera arrangement has a 12.2MP main and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the front has an 8MP selfie camera. A Tensor chip, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of native storage power the Pixel 6a. It runs on Android 12 OS and is powered by a 4,306mAh battery.
